Event Description
On the heels of the New Yorker's massive story on psilocybin research at NYU, Adam Strauss presents a workshop of his one-man show about self-treating his OCD with magic mushrooms. Plagued with that disorder and the occasional bout of general anxiety, Strauss sought out the famed psychedelic after hearing about its healing properties. His journey toward enlightened recovery took him around the globe, meeting other seekers and serving as a test subject for a scientist who became his lover. The show played well at Edinburgh Fringe, and this is a rare opportunity to see it before it goes big in NYC.
