Event Description
Swan Day is an international holiday facilitated by WomenArts.org, to support women in arts. Events occur around the world during the months of March and April. Alacrity Project’s Swan Day Monologue Jam features women (and men) who have a message to share (through monologue, dance & song) about being a woman, and femininity. In this show artists share their take on: What does it mean to be a woman? and What is femininity? Participate in individual artists’ ongoing exploration towards knowing and recognizing a woman’s true value, purpose & function.
