This is a data base for movements in my choreography. I’ve been interested in the process of making choreography. I wanted to know how many movements I’ve created so far, and to classify these movements in categories to develop an ease and efficiency in developing my work. To exhibit my movements will also help me to know more objectively why I feel beauty in each one. To ensure this purpose, I am placing my fundamental movement ideas in this article by text and video. These fundamental movements will be combined, divided and arranged into new movements in the future. I hope you enjoy seeing my process of choreography using this database.

これは私の振付における動きのデータベースです。 私は、以前より振付の過程に興味があり、今までどのくらいの動きを作ったのかを知りたい、またそれらを整理して情報としてまとめたいと考えました。そうすることで自分の振付の 過程を効率化して、もっと楽に自由な気分で振付を作りたいと思ったからです。 自分の作った動きを改めて一覧することは、自分がなぜこれらの動きに美しさを感じるかと いうことを、客観的に知る手助けにもなると思いました。
その為に、ここでは、まず自分の基本的な動きのアイデアを文章とビデオで記録します。将来的には、それら基本的な動き群を繋げたり、分割したり、アレンジを加えるなどして新しい動きへと変化させて行きたいと思います。
読んで下さる方が、このデータベースによる私の振付の過程を楽しんで頂ければ幸いです。

Rules for movement database
• Indicate purpose and self-interests for movements.
• Name each movement.
• Identify the beginning and end of each movement.

Rules for the further development to database
• Teach each movement to 3~10 dancers, testing each movement's concept and form in public.
• Make faster and slower versions for each movement.
• Seek movements in my daily life which are relevant to these fundamental movements.
• Consider these movements not only in the studio with one body, but also in an ordinary situation relating to the space and situation.

動きデータベースのルール
• 動きを行う目的と、なぜ私がその動きに興味を持ったのかを記すこと。
• 動きに名前をつける。
• 動きのはじまりと終わりと明確に記す。
今後のデータベース展開のルール
• 3人~10人に振り渡しをして、動きのコンセプトとフォームの公共性を試す。
• 動きの早回し/遅回しヴァージョンを作る。
• 日常生活の中で、これら基本的な動き(アイデア)と関連性のある動きを探す。
• それぞれの動きをスタジオ内や固有の身体のみにとどめずに、日常的な空間や時間背景と関連づけて考察する。

Database 1 - Lying down 「横たわる」
Purpose
Having noticed that I had an assumption that I basically created choreography from a standing position opposing gravity, I began to reflect about how I stand up with my body as the most simplest fundamental movement. I became interested in the movement ‘Standing’. Attempting to see the movement ‘Standing’ more objectively, I tried ‘Lying down on the floor’ to assess the process of 'Standing up'. I noticed that the first movement for the lying down movement was bending knees. So I tried lying down in three different ways which are- without bending knees, without bending elbows, without bending right elbow and right knee.
I found the lying down posture so beautiful with one's back to natural gravity as a non- resistance image.

私は、自分が振付を作る際に、「立っているポジション/ 重力に抵抗(対抗)する動き」を前提とし て、自分が振付を行っている事に気づきました。そしてその、「立つ」という、ダンスの中で一番基本的な動きを、私はどのように行っているのか、について少し考えてみたいと思いました。「立つという動 きそのもの」に興味が湧いて来たのです。そこで「人が立つという動き」について分析する為に、「床の上に横たわる」という動きをやってみました。何度かその動きを繰り返すうちに、「横たわる」動きをする為に私の身体の中で最初に行っている動きは、「膝を曲げる」動きだと気づきました。そこから、「膝を曲げないで横たわる」「肘を曲げないで横たわる」「右の肘と膝を曲げないで横たわる」という3種類の方法での「横たわる」動きが生まれました。
「横たわる」姿勢からは、重力に逆らわずになすがままの自然な状態へ身体を戻す、無抵抗な状態をイメージすることができ、それを美しいと感じます。
