Julia is a Brooklyn based performer, director, and choreographer. She teaches movement based performance and physical technique at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. In her academic and artistic work, she explores the relationship between the body and a performer’s emotional life, specifically the connection between physical freedom and psycho-emotional release. Julia is a 2013-2014 Leimay Black Studio Share Artist.
