The People Movers are turning five!

In celebration of this, we are holding our first ever Gala, taking place on April 1, 2017 at Gowanus Loft. This is a big step for us, and we certainly want you to be a part of it.

In its first five years, The People Movers has grown tremendously. What started as a group of friends exploring a budding performance and choreography practice has evolved into a robust performance and production collaborative. Our programming now includes teaching, performance and event production, digital/social media services, and our exciting performance series, CRAWL, now entering its third year.

Our Gala will be a chance to reflect on our past while looking forward to the near future: touring, producing, and the late 2017 premiere of Glass, The People Movers’ most ambitious work yet, created in part during a 2016-2017 Leimay Fellowship at CAVE. 

The night will include dinner, drinks, pop-up performances, and a DJ set by Myles Avery-- and you!
