 017 at Gowanus Loft. This is a big step for us, and we certainly want
  you to be a part of it.\n\nIn its first five years, The People Movers
  has grown tremendously. What started as a group of friends exploring 
 a budding performance and choreography practice has evolved into a rob
 ust performance and production collaborative. Our programming now incl
 udes teaching, performance and event production, digital/social media 
 services, and our exciting performance series, CRAWL, now entering it
 s third year.\n\nOur Gala will be a chance to reflect on our past whil
 e looking forward to the near future: touring, producing, and the late
  2017 premiere of Glass, The People Movers’ most ambitious work yet
 , created in part during a 2016-2017 Leimay Fellowship at CAVE. \n\nT
 he night will include dinner, drinks, pop-up performances, and a DJ s
