Some of our programs have benefits for art workers - please tell us if you are an artist and mention the most recent work/venue/space/residency where you have worked/developed your practice.: Shannon McPhee is an actor, dancer, and performance artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a BA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University and an MFA in Theatre Arts from Towson University.

Her work has been seen in New York City at Dixon Place, Mabou Mines ToRoNaDa Space, P.S. 122, and The Manhattan Repertory Theater; The Charlestown Working Theater in Boston; and various theaters in Maryland and Michigan. Her performance work with One Hour, Eighteen Minutes, has been seen at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars in Washington, D.C. As a member of Kibism Dance Company, she toured the East Coast performing at venues including DancePlace, Questfest, and the Baltimore Theatre Project.

She has performed a variety of motion capture projects for live theatre and dance, most notably as 10 different characters in Dr. Faustus, directed by Leon Inglusrud of SITI Company. Her motion capture work can also be seen in various video games.
