Rosemary holds a M.A. in Culture and Performance with a concentration in Dance from UCLA, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate focusing on the work of Eiko & Koma. She joined Corpus Delicti upon moving to Los Angeles in 2006, and has performed locally in the works of choreographers Katsura Kan, Kingsley Irons, Sara Wookey, and Jia Wu with whom she recently performed in Pina Bausch’s 2008 Fest mit Pina in Essen, Germany.
Rosemary has performed across the United States and in Canada as a member of Navarasa Dance Theater, a contemporary classical Indian dance company. She has also performed postmodern dance and butoh in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York with Andary Dance, Kitsune, Ellen Godena, In Vivo Productions, Seidman Says Dance, Brian Crabtree, Kelley Donovan and Dancers, Jimena Bermejo, and Dupont Danceworks.
In New England, Rosemary’s choreography was presented by the Rhode Island Independent Artists’ Collective, the Theatre Expansion, and the Shared Choreographers’ Concert. In Los Angeles, her work has been produced as part of Anatomy Riot, Body Weather Laboratory’s Flower of the Season, and the Culture Crossing series at the UCLA Department of World Arts and Cultures. The Providence Phoenix has called her work “by turns disturbing and distressing…but also haunting.”
