Lindsey Jones is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and started dancing at the Center for Creative Arts (COCA) under the direction of Lee Nolting. Lindsey graduated with a BFA from SUNY Purchase in 2012 and performed works by Nelly van Bommel, Merce Cunningham, John Heginbotham, and Mark Morris. Lindsey had the opportunity to study aboard at the London Contemporary Dance School in 2010. Since graduating, Lindsey has participated in various reconstructions of Cunningham’s works with Robert Swinston, Sandra Neels, Rashaun Mitchell, and Susan Quinn. She has danced with Dance Heginbotham, Adriane Lee/Rosario, Lindy Schmedt/Greyzone, Jessica Taylor/DAMAGEdance, and art collectives; The Hoover Dam and Co-Lab [Experiments in Collaboration].
