Hello my name is Hattie Mae Williams I am thirty one years old and have been dancing professionally since 2000. I graduated from Fordham/Alvin Ailey program and currently create sites specific pieces, stage performances, film and media, and art installations for my pick up company The Tattooed Ballerinas and work part time for Nickelodeon as a dancer for the cartoons The Backyardigans and Bubble Guppies. I am very comfortable with improvisation and partnering work . I choose dance as my medium of expression and I'm always wanting to find new ways to be vulnerable and honest through that. I have studied Dance Movement therapy at Pratt Inst. (briefly) and interned at Bellevue hospital for dance therapy, and have also been apart of working in youth theater and out reach programs performing all scopes of theater. Some of the companies I have worked with are The Kevin Wynn collection, Joanna Mendel Shaw "dancing with Horses," and Francesca Harper project.
