I have spent over twenty years watching, assessing, and communicating movement as a teacher, critic, artist, and therapist. Most of my life has revolved around the transmutation of movement into language, and language into movement. It is this particular shape shifting of movement and language that fuels all of the work I do in its many applications.
I started choreographing my own work in London with my performance group SPINE, a Millennium Festival Award winner, which has now grown into a Brooklyn based multimedia collective that concentrates on movement and video. I also work as a choreographer for hire for film and theater and consult on a wide range of creative projects.
I also invite the community into my home for bodywork, supper clubs, and art salons led by community partners.
