My name is Ashley and I am a dance artist currently residing in Bushwick. Over 2023 I have been an artist in residence with MOtiVE Brooklyn, where I have been developing solo work exploring grief and heartache through the material use of cellophane.The final months of my residency have allowed me to start honing in on my personal practice and the ways/ideas I want to explore - somatics and world building through the body as a conduit. I would love to continue exploring how to relate these through scores, material, solo/partnered structures.
