Originally from Denver, Colorado, she graduated with a BFA in dance from the University of Colorado Boulder. After relocating to NYC in 2023 she has danced with Cindy Brandle dance company, Forza Dance Company, Vashti Dance Theater and TORCH Dance Theater. Araya has also taken to choreographing a solo for the Spark Theater Festival that took place in September 2024.
