Angelina Laguna is based in New York City. In Laguna’s professional career she has had the opportunity to perform multiple works by Merce Cunningham. She has worked with artists Liz Gerring, Cherrie Yu, John Heginbotham, Matthew Brookoff, and Yoshiko Chuma and the School of Hard Knocks. Her choreographic work has been presented at the Tank, Arts on Site, American Dance Guild's Bare Bones Festival, Lehman College, and Estia Day Festival. Laguna's practice also involves community organizing and action. She currently works with Dancers for Palestine and Cabrini Immigrant Services.
