Some of our programs have benefits for art workers - please tell us if you are an artist and mention the most recent work/venue/space/residency where you have worked/developed your practice.: After getting a degree in Biology, Andressa Furletti moved to Rio de Janeiro to pursue her acting career. She has worked and studied with prestigious directors such as Jorge Durán, Fátima Toledo, Patricia Carvalho Oliveira and Paulo Halm, and actors such as Caio Blat, Othon Bastos, Aracy Cardoso and Caio Junqueira. Still in Rio, she also got a degree in filmmaking. In 2007, Andressa moved to New York where she went to the acting conservatory training at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and has been living there since then.

Andressa has acted in 12 plays, more than 20 short films and in the feature film “Proibido Proibir” which has won 11 awards and 5 nominations in festivals around the world. She is now working on the original play "free•dom – a solo of many people" that will premier in New York in 2012.
