Andrea teaches throughout the U.S. and has presented her work in the 2016 & 2017 Capezio Ace Awards. Her passion for choreography began at a young age and developed under the direction of artists such as Tzveta Kassabova, Elizabeth Johnson, and Jeffrey Docimo. Andrea has also learned from Winifred Burnet- Smith of Hofesh Shechter Company, Cindy Salgado of Kidd Pivot, and Niharika Senepati of Chunky Move. She’s had the privilege of presenting her work at TEDx UF: “Transparent” at the Phillips Center in Gainesville, Florida. She’s also created work as the Center for World Arts/Harn Museum Choreographer-in-Residence at the University of Florida. Additionally, Andrea has had her underwater dance films screened in New York, Paris, and London. Music plays a central role in her work, and she oftentimes creates her own music to choreograph to. She’s currently recording an album that will be the basis for dance works to come.
