The Dancers' Health Insurance Resource Center provides services for dancers in our ten target cities including:

• Workshops to explain health insurance rights, options, and small business subsidies

• A network of brokers to structure health insurance plans specifically for a dance organization’s needs

Additionally, we provide the following services to all dancers nationwide:

• Telephone and e-mail counseling to individual dancers and dance troupe managers

• Webinars on researching health insurance options online

• Distribution of our guides on getting and keeping health insurance

The Actors Fund has received a grant from the Doris Duke Foundation to create a Dancers Health Insurance Resource Center. The goal is to have every dancer—and dancer’s family—insured by 2014.
