Event Description

The Ritual
Inspired by Jacob’s Ladder and Angel Heart
Gathered bodies will fill the space for a 5 hour performance- The Ritual.
A ritual is a set of actions, performed mainly for their symbolic value. The term excludes actions which are arbitrarily chosen by the performers.
Everything happens for a reason. We live by accepting our darkest hour. The Ritual will ask you to focus on a time and place that can’t be explained only witnessed.
7 performers will create jittery movement, possessed dishevelment, and body brutality; repetitive action, sacred dance and attempts to raise the dead. What will be built? What will be left? What will be found?
Join us for our version of horror: no noise, no screams- fear through illusions of body gesture.
$17 online $20 at the adventure
