Learn to improvise a personal narrative through the creation of a mural drawing done in charcoal.
The focus of this workshop will be providing a series of tools to help you to visualize and create an improvised personal narrative and bring it to life on paper.  The course is aimed for people who like to draw but who do not necessarily know how to professionally.
The instructor will provide a supportive space that welcomes newcomers to making art as well as providing tools for more experienced artists.  By teaching with a “no erasers, no mistakes” philosophy, the participant will be encouraged to let go and explore drawing.
By the end of this two day experimental workshop, participants will create a personal narrative by observing and imitating the technique of the instructor as he creates a pencil and charcoal mural drawing on site.

The workshop will provide the charcoal and paper for the drawings.
