Event Description

Kate Brehm's LUDUS Lab, Performing Invisibility, addresses the role of both the human body’s form and its dynamics while it is in service to that of an object outside and separate from it. Removing oneself from the assumption that one’s body is the focal point of an audience's attention requires awareness, precision, and the ability to direct one’s energy production. Participants will harness this energy in service to the other, be it human or otherwise. While exploring this state, students will also address the transformational dramaturgy of objects as architecture and prop. Participants will work in dance attire with simple objects.

Sunday, June 4th, 12pm-3pm
Tuition: $38
Space is limited. Online registration required.
