Colleagues,
In case any of you are interested, I am giving in talk about Hijikata Tatsumi and butoh at Artists Space in NYC on Saturday at 3 PM. Artists Space is doing a series in conjunction with the Whitney Biennial which is featuring the work of Richard Hawkins who did a series of paintings called Ankoku loosely inspired from Hijikata's notebooks (buto-fu).
