Dance on Camera presents

Hästdans på Hovdala: a new feature-length documentary dance film and Natural Selection: a dance short by Director David Fishel.

In July 2013, Choreographer JoAnna Shaw and her Equus Projects spent three weeks in a Swedish forest creating a site-specific performance work that brought together four dancers, four horses, and a cast of Swedish performers with autism. Over thirteen days, filmmaker David Fishel follows the progression of the creation process, training, and the deepening connection between the Swedish, American, and equine performers.

Following the screening of the documentary, Natural Selection, a short created in summer 2013 for Dances Made to Order (ed. 26) will be shown along with many other fantastic shorts.
