Heiress Presumptive creates space and time for a viewer’s long look and active observation. Dancers coolly switch from hyper-detailed choreography to an expanded space of calculated chaos. Using a combination of sensory-based improvisation scores and rigid choreographic elements, Heiress Presumptive directs the viewer’s gaze from close scrutiny to a panoramic blur.
