Fernando Eguchi (b.1979) is a multi-media artist from Sao Paulo, Brazil. While he holds a degree in architecture, his creative interests range to many other forms of media. He has performed as a drummer for the band “Liquidus Ambiento”, produced music videos, and exhibited his architectural work at the International Biennial of Architecture in Sao Paulo with Projeto CELU.LAR. In Tokyo, he regularly VJs and creates designs and short videos with the sophisticated colors, patterns and images which he has encountered in Japan. He cites much of his influence from his surrounding environment - wherever it may be. A record of these inspirations and his works can be found online at: feguchi.blogspot.com. As an artist who draws heavily from his everyday life, he is committed to creating an ongoing and dynamic cultural dialogue between Brazil and Japan.
