 nally. He conducts Body Weather Laboratory, a forum for investigating 
 the body and dance (founded by Min Tanaka in Japan, 1978).  Oguri has
  received support from the California Arts Council, the New England Fo
 undation for the Arts National Dance Project, the Rockefeller Foundati
 on, the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, The Durfee Fo
 undation, The Lila Wallace Reader's Digest Arts Partners Program, The 
 Getty Center, Irvine Fellowships in Dance, and the Dance: Creation to 
 Performance Grant.Chicago native Adam Rudolph is a renowned artist for
  his compositions and hand drum/percussion. For the last three decades
 , he has appeared at festivals and concerts throughout North  South A
 merica, Europe, Africa, and Japan, playing with the legendary Yusef La
 teef, Sam Rivers, Pharaoh Sanders, L. Shankar, and Fred Anderson. He i
 s known especially for his innovative small group and duo collaboratio
 ns with Don Cherry, Jon Hassel, Wadada Leo Smith, and Omar Sosa. Rudol
 ph has developed a unique syncretic approach to hand drums and leads h
