  lesson, screening of historical butoh pieces, and methodology discuss
 ion. Tanya and Mariko will rotate teaching weeks, and combine their ch
 oreographies in the student showing at the end. \nButoh is an image-b
 ased movement exploration.  It asks what can a body do, and what is a
  body?  Each class will begin with a Noguchi gymnastic-based thorough
  mind-body workout, followed by image explorations, and then choreogra
 phic structures.  The 9 weeks will culminate in a student showing, wi
