DESCRIPTION:Susan Mar Landau's LUDUS, \"who asks what when and why\" w
 ill explore the act of questioning as both a generative and critical t
 ool for performance makers. The creation of a performance work demands
  different kinds of dramaturgical questions for the artist to consider
 : What are these questions? Who asks them? When and why?\n\n \n\nWith
  Susan, participants will explore what form and import these questions
  might take. The Lab will draw reference from Roland Barthesʼ essay \
 "The Death of the Author\" as well as from an in-depth conversation wi
 th SOAK artist Lucy Kerr about her own artistic process in creating he
 r piece \"you are nothing/you were all i had.\"\n\n \n\nAlong with co
 llective discussions, each participant will have the opportunity and s
 upport to investigate and identify questions that could serve their ow
 n creative process.\n\n \n\nAs part of this LUDUS Lab, participants w
 ill be asked to attend Lucy Kerr's performance of \"you were nothing/y
 ou were all i had\" at the LEIMAY Friends and Fellows Showcase on June
  8th at 8pm.\n\n \n\nFriday, June 16th, 6pm-10pm\n\nSaturday, June 17
