DESCRIPTION:SOAK is a festival presenting a stream of AcTS and traini
 ng in theater, butoh, dance, music, and performance art every spring-s
 ummer season. SOAK is molded by LEIMAY, the interdisciplinary ensemble
  and producing organization behind the acclaimed New York Butoh Festiv
 al.  SOAK takes place at LEIMAY’s home, CAVE, in Williamsburg, Broo
 klyn.\n \nSOAK broadens the perceptions of our artists and audiences
  with work that is experimental, rigorous, and thought-provoking. The 
 festival showcases finished and in-progress work by international, loc
 al, and fellow artists, and blends them together in a concoction that 
 inspires audiences, fuels the artists, and stimulates the community su
 rrounding LEIMAY’s activities.\n \nSOAK Performances include work 
 by LEIMAY Fellows Lucy Kerr, Kathleen Kelley, Danielle Russo,Alexa Sal
 amé, Terra Incognita Theater, Timothy Scott, Nicolas Norena, Hannah G
 ross, and Kat Brown. In addition, international, local, and LEIMAY mem
 bers performances by Moeno Wakamatsu, Gio Kusanagi, Zack Fuller, Peter
  Sciscioli, Emily Smith, and Derek DiMartini. During the LEIMAY Block 
 Party, additional acts such as Jan Miko, Mario Galeano, Angeli, and Ja
 ck Leahy, will also join us this SOAK for various pop-up and durationa
 l performances.\n\nLEIMAY LUDUS during SOAK features LEIMAY LUDUS Summ
 er Intensive with Artistic Director Ximena Garnica, and four LEIMAY LU
 DUS Labs in voice, eurhythmy, dance, theatre, and butoh with guest tea
 chers Moeno Wakamatsu, Gio Kusanagi, Zack Fuller, and Peter Sciscioli.
