DESCRIPTION:LEIMAY LUDUS Summer Intensive is envisioned by artistic di
 rector Ximena Garnica as a laboratory for developing and sharing an in
 stinctive, conscious and rigorous way to cultivate the performer’s b
 ody. It is constantly reinvented in conversation with internal and ext
 ernal dynamics rather than relying on a singular technique. LEIMAY LUD
 US values training as an act of growing the body through embracing it 
 voice, soul, intellect and physicality.\n\nThe third annual Ludus Trai
 ning Summer Intensive is open to dancers, actors, performers, movers a
 nd those interested in investigating the human body’s vast possibili
 ties. Ximena utilizes improvisation as a means of personal exploration
 , thus accessing each student’s individual physical potential so as 
 to develop a unique and individualized movement vocabulary.\n\nExercis
 es offer opportunities to explore internal openness and energy flow; t
 o distinguish different approaches to generating energy and impulses; 
 to activate different body qualities; and to facilitate an awareness o
 f consciousness through the exploration of the unconscious domain. Dur
 ing the LEIMAY LUDUS Summer Intensive, participants will be engaged in
  practices which cultivate an individual presence and prepare an alert
