 s from the path.\n \nAbout the Artists\nGio Kusanagi is native of Jap
 an and studied Butoh with Moe Yamamoto, Toru Iwashita, Kunisuke Kamiry
 o, Yoshito Ohno, Yukio Waguri, Seisaku & Yuri, Ko Muroboshi, & Kayo Mi
 kami, and was an Artist in Residence at Bronx Academy of Arts and Danc
 e in 2012, along with various other commissioned works.\n \nDerek DiM
 artini was an ensemble member in LEIMAY’’s 2016 premiere of border
 s, and is training to teach and continue to develop the LEIMAY LUDUS p
 rogram. He likes to view dance as an extension of his passion as a cre
 ator and a performer.\n Emily Smith, dancer, choreographer, and costum
 e designer. Emily is currently producing a performance series called F
 ête with Elena Light. With Laura Smith, she formed “NOT for reTALE�
 ��, creating kinetic sculptures and performance. She has worked with L
