DESCRIPTION:Seating is limited; to RSVP, please go to: \nhttp://leima
 ymain.cavearts.org/?p=4318\n\nTerra Incognita Theater\nLoose Ends\nOne
woman, one life. Stories interweave. Time is passing. Coming to terms
, or not? Forgiveness and gratitude, or not?\n \nThe material in this
piece was developed by Isobel Roth guided by Thomas Richards, Cecile
Berthe and Mario Biagini in workshops of The Workcenter of Jerzy Groto
wski and Thomas Richards.  The current production is directed by Poli
 na Klimovitskaya.

\n \nNicolas Noreña, Timothy Scott and Han
nah Gross\nTELE-VISION: on spiritual displacement\nA mystical romance,
a ballet about human faced with the unknown and the awe, the fear and
the mystical longing for union with that which is beyond understandin
g, be it death, exotic far off places, chance, or an intergalactic bei
ng. Do spaces haunt people or do people haunt spaces? Fruit! Crowds go
ing mad! A ghost! And much more! Stay tuned!\n \nKat Brown\n(de)Compo
sition\nApplying it to the Pablo Neruda line “I want to do to you wh
at spring does to the Cherry tree,” lines and layers repeat till wor
ds become raw sound and movement loses its structure. From this shambl
ed space does raw sound becomes a song and movement manifests as a dan
ce.\n \nDecay and dissolution: from chaos the true composition is all
owed to emerge.\n \nAbout the Artists\nKat Brown is a movement artist
and writer based in New York. Informed by Jungian Authentic Movement
and somatic practices her work approaches movement as a means to under
stand and embody symbolic language. Through long duration performance
she also takes up the relationship between time and the body, this wor
k is rooted in the idea that if time is a truth, it's a truth of the b
ody.\n \nPolina Klimovitskaya, the founder and artistic director of T
erra Incognita Theater, is an international master teacher and directo
r who began her career in Moscow. Currently she teaches at Hunter Coll
ege and Michael Howard Studio in New York and conducts annual workshop
 s in Paris and Lisbon.
\n \nIsobel Roth is a member of Terra Incog
nita and has performed with them in the past three Soak Festivals. She
is a member of the NYC Seed Group and has studied at the Workcenter o
f Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards in Italy.

\n Hannah Gro
ss, Timothy Scott and Nicolas Noreña started collaborating a year ago
through the CAVE/LEIMAY residency program. They have presented FOUR F
OURS at MoMA and are proud to share TELE-VISION: on spiritual displace
ment at SOAK.\n\nFor more information visit http://conectom.leimay.org
