 rtnoy presents a new staging of his destabilizing, combinatorial game
  show, 27 Gnosis, which premiered in dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel, Germ
 any this past summer. Under the instruction of the Rigid Designator, a
  limited group of players compete to develop a series of confounding p
 ropositions formed through the interplay of a set of 27 \"gnoses,\" sc
 ulptural forms each representing a heuristic or conceptual tool for at
 taining experiential knowledge. The language system of the game borrow
 s structurally from the ontologies of 17th Century taxonomic languages
  as well as elements of modern constructed languages such as Ithkuil, 
 aUi, and Ygede. Unfolding unpredictably in a mixture of linguistic con
 tortion, worldbuilding, and dance, the game fuses Portnoy's breed of R
 elational Stalinism with his background in experimental comedy.  Perfo
