DESCRIPTION:A rare opportunity to work with actor, director, and close
  associate of Jerzy Grotowski Mario Biagini.   This LEIMAY Ludus Lab 
 with guest director Mario Biagini from The Workcenter is divided in th
 ree different modules: 1) Singing and Organic Behavior, 2) Intentional
  Action – Spontaneity and Structure, and 3) Physical Training. Modul
 es can be taken separately or together. \n This LEIMAY Ludus Lab is o
 pen to actors, dancers, body rooted performers or anybody interested i
 n exploring the elements of the actor’s craft.   Within the whole d
 uration of this LEIMAY Ludus Lab taught by guest director Mario Biagin
 i, participants will explore fundamental elements of the actor’s cra
 ft such as organicity, relation, contact, impulse, intention, action a
 nd reaction, the relation between process and form, and strive towards
  an understanding of the difference between movement and action. Under
  the direction and guidance of Biagini, participants will work on the 
 creation of individual and collective acting scenes, on singing ancien
 t traditional songs, and learn elements of the physical training devel
 oped at the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards over the
  past twenty-seven years. These modules will allow participants to app
 roach the basic aspects of practical research at the Workcenter, and t
 o discover their own individual and unique approach to creation.   Mo
 dules will explore the basic but complex constitutive elements of the 
 actor’s craft:  -Relation: precision / organicity -Relation: traditi
 on / individual work -Relation: ritual / drama -Composed movement and 
 rhythm -Singing -Vibration of the voice -Body resonators and spatial r
 esonance -Awareness of space and reacting to its constituent elements 
 -Improvisation: the impulses / the vigilant mind -Improvisation within
  a structure -Search for a precise line and logic of impulses and phys
 ical actions: the score  Please read descriptions for each individual 
 module in LEIMAY's website as you might be expected to bring or prepar
