 fied, training technique for dance and theater performers.\nLUDUS stre
 ngthens the body while generating fluidity and relaxation. It cultivat
 es presence and prepares an alert and neutral body that is ready to be
  moved or to perform. Exercises create the opportunity to explore inte
 rnal openness an energy flow, distinguish different approaches to orig
 inating energy, facilitate and awareness and investigate possible rela
 tionships between body and voice. Manipulation of space, time and body
  through the transformation of embodied images are the key.\nLUDUS has
  distilled exercises from multiple butoh masters, theater directors an
 d performance artists. The technique trains performers whose work is r
 ooted in the body and furthers an understanding of the aesthetic disti
