SUMMARY:Looking for performers for small, wild project
DESCRIPTION:Terra Incognita has received an invitation from a friend o
 f mine to participate in the project described in the two below links.
  Said friend will shoot a short documentary about it and asked me if I
  wanted to bring a kind of performance to one of the pianos while she 
 films. So, we will develop and perform a site-specific, kinetic-instal
 lation work to be filmed in public. We still have to work out the deta
 ils with the filmmaker about exact time and location. More practical d

 s: We will all together work on a very simple movement. It will not be
  choreographed but rather based on the natural tendencies of each part
 icipant and brought to life in a kind of unified presence based in my 
 Kinetic Mind Work. The nature of this process will test our flexibilit
 y and spontaneity. We've reached out to you in the CAVE community beca
 use we feel you can handle this and because we think you'll gain from 
 it, as we will gain from your participation. Here's how it will work: 
 You're all invited to as many rehearsals as you can attend (few left n
 ow). We don't expect anyone to attend them all. Come when you can. Dur
 ing these meetings we'll communicate the basic nature and practice of 
 the work and explore some possibilities together - and hopefully grow 
 some unity with those who have not worked with us before. When it come
 s to the performances, who can come will come. We'll all have to play 
 a little waiting game because of the documentarian's setting the perfo
 rmance time -- though we do expect it to happen between June 22 and 26
 . We'll let you know as soon as we do; then you'll let us know if you 
 can attend, particularly because -- due to the number\nof the simple c
 ostumes we're creating -- each performance will be limited to 13 of us
 . \nI know this is a little unconventional, but we like that -- and we
  have no choice. If you have questions, feel free toFor those who will
  participate, ideally you'd come to at least two rehearsals prior to t
 he performance. These are the days we will hold them:\n\n\nWeds (June 
 15) 6pm-9:30pm Cave Black Studio Thurs 5pm-8pm Cave White Studio (to b

  Studio (to be confirmed)\nThis will depend on the schedule of perform
 ances. We plan for a total of three -- one to be decided by the woman 
 making the documentary, the other two chosen by us, based on the avail
 ability of the performers. The two we choose will fall between June 21
  and 29.  So, do let me know which rehearsals you plan to attend. If y
 ou can attend only one of the aforementioned rehearsals, let me know w
 hich; it may not prohibit your participation. Also, please let me know
  your availability/preferences for days and times for the performances
  we will choose. We'll try to accommodate as many of you as possible.
