 280Under the title of The Porous Body in 2014, LEIMAY’s artistic dir
 ector will offer four connected yet independent monthly labs open to a
 ctors, dancers, body rooted performers or anybody interested in experi
 encing and investigating some of the aspects surrounding LEIMAY’s ph
 ysical work; especially those akin to the conditioning of a loose and 
 fluid body, and the cultivation of a deeper awareness of weight. Throu
 gh the repetition of a variety of exercises and explorations, particip
 ants gain the opportunity to investigate the following principles:- In
 ternal openness and energy flow- Approaches to movement and energy gen
 eration- Awareness of consciousness, gravity and internal rhythm- Cult
 ivation of presence- Strength and body fluidityAn important element in
  Ludus training is the cultivation of an alert presence in a neutral s
 tate which develops a body that is both ready to be moved and perform.
  Furthermore, the manipulation of space, time and body through the tra
 nsformation of embodied images is also a key concept. The last 20 minu
 tes of each class will use imagery to awaken different body conditions
  and qualities. When a body is in this state of constant transformatio
 n and play, LEIMAY calls this dance.A discount is offered to those who
  plan on taking all four labs, however, labs can be taken individually
  and do not have to be taken sequentially.Registration opens December
