SUMMARY:LEIMAY Ludus Lab with dramaturg Susan Mar Landau
DESCRIPTION:\n\nwho asks what when and why? The creation of a performa
nce work demands different kinds of dramaturgical questions for the ar
tist to consider: What are these questions? Who asks them? When and wh
y? Together we will explore what form and import these questions migh
t take, as we draw reference from Roland Barthesʼ essay “The Death
of the Author”, as well as from an in depth conversation with SOAK a
rtist Julia Crockett about her own artistic process in creating her pi
ece “KID”. Along with our collective discussions, each participant
will have the opportunity and support to investigate and identify que
stions that could serve their own creative process. Dates: June 9th a
 nd 10th // 6:30pm – 9:30pm Price: FREE Attendance of Julia Crockett
s piece, KID, is required for attendance of this workshop. KID will
take place on June 6th and June 7th. Tickets will become available ear
ly April. Pre-registration is required Members’ discounts and other
discounts valid for online payment only Susan Mar Landau is a New
