 hrough the development of soft tissues and flexibility and through the
  use of Qi Gong and Noguchi Taiso.\nThis Lab aims to Integrate the ins
 ide/outside, left/right, head/toe, visceral/refined and image/sensate.

 s; Cultivate pattern recognition, the ability to develop what you reco
 gnize, and the skill of instant Change; Enjoy the not knowing; Trust t
 hat your body, from subtle awareness to expansive expression, will kno
 w what to do.\n \nShinichi has been teaching body mechanics and compo
 sition in workshops and Universities since 1994. He is the Artistic Di
 rector of the physical theater and dance company inkBoat, founded by S
 hinichi in 1998. The recipient of 5 “Izzie” awards, inkBoat has to
 ured in North America, Europe, South Korea and Japan, often collaborat
 ing with local artists in museums, theaters, studios and site-specific
  locations. His mentors include Yumiko Yoshioka, Ko Murobushi, Anna Ha
 lprin, Ruth Zaporah, and Ralph Lemon. Shinichi is a certified teacher
