DESCRIPTION:RH Gallery is pleased to announce Intermission 2, thesecon
 d iteration of Autumn Intermission, a series of performances that comp
 lement the threemajor exhibitions opening this fall at RH Gallery. Con
 ceived by Gallery Director RebeccaHeidenberg and Opalnest Producer Hel
 en Homan Wu, Autumn Intermission provides asite-specific experimental 
 platform that initiates a dialogue with the artists and the distinctar
 chitecture of the gallery. Intermission 2 will be situated within the 
 exhibition The SavageDetectives and features Painted Caves with Ursula
  Scherrer and Vestals.Painted Caves is the electronic sound project of
  Evan Caminiti. Using semi-modular analogsynthesizers, Caminiti will s
 culpt narrative in sound to produce an immersive environment;the audie
 nce is “part of the story as it’s happening in the moment.” Expe
 rimenting with thepotential of this instrument, Caminiti’s spectrum 
 includes earth rumbling bass tones topiercing high end pitches. This p
 erformance will be a collaboration with visual artist UrsulaScherrer w
 ho will present a live video performance integrating fragmented images
  ofnature, the body and geometric abstractions in motion.Vestals is th
 e solo project of artist Lisa McGee who was part of the duo Higuma wit
 hCamniti and the ensemble Portraits. Her recently released debut solo 
 album ‘Forever FallingToward the Sky' is a taut set of haunting elec
 tric ballads woven together with layered guitarsand dense vocal arrang
 ements. Swept in a hazy, sun-spotted torrent of restrained feedbackand
  dream pop vocals, the album languishes in soft static crackle.\n\nFor
