DESCRIPTION:envoy enterprises is pleased to present a series of live 
 performances and a special exhibition by video director and sound desi
 gner Edward Paul Quist (aka embryoroom) and musician and artist Derek 
 Gruen (aka Slow Knights) as part of their one month residency in the g
 allery’s basement level.Transforming envoy’s basement into a black
 -box mise-en-scene activated with the haunting scenographic stylings o
 f Gruen and the metronomic flash of Quist’s video projections and so
 undscapes, this exhibition is the first live presentation of Quist’s
  feature film The Untitled and an exploration of the collaborative wor
 k between the two artists. The performance series will feature live so
 undtracking for recent video/film collaborations in a kinetic shifting
  environment.Performance dates are every Thursday of the week from 8-1
