  for Aluna Sintana to celebrate artists Shige Moriya and Ximena Ga
 rnica, their expansive body of work and commitment to supporting other
  emerging artists.  Since 1996, Shige and Ximena have led a variety o
 f community programs providing affordable workspace, training and pres
 enting opportunities for emerging artists at their home studio, CAVE,
  in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Simultaneously they have developed, create
 d and toured collaborative works ranging from sculptural, video, and l
 ight installations to photography, performances and publications. Th
 eir work has been shown in a variety of local and international venues
  including BAM, HERE, Joyce SoHo, The Brooklyn Museum, The New Museum,
  and The Watermill Center.\nAluna Sintana will honor acclaimed arti
 sts Laurie Anderson and Robert Wilson together with the visionaryÂ
  Alanna Heiss. The evening will bring together artists, friends, and a
 rt supporters at CAVE for an intimate seated dinner in a unique envir
 onment of installations and performances.  The dinner will be followe
 d by an after party event, offering additional guests the opportunity 
 to meet and share with LEIMAY’s artists and ensemble at their home a
 nd workspace.Aluna Sintana is the second benefit hosted by LEIMAY. Th
 e first, Hanasaka, took place on December 1, 2016, and honored compo
 ser Philip Glass together with Zachary Model and Juan Merchan. Click
