He studied theatre dire ction in Vienna before touring Europe and giving solo performances acc ompanied by leading jazz performers. In 1992 Tadashi  founded the MAM U butoh center focusing on Butoh-Ma. Endo is guest professor at the Hochschule für Darstellende Kunst,” Frankfurt am Main, “The Acad emy of Music and Moving Arts,” Jerusalem and Núcleo Interdisciplina r des Pesquisas Teatrais, Unicamp, University Campinas, Brazil.
